A string quartet all about what the mind sees, doesn't see, and what it thinks it sees... Musically, my aim with this piece was to combine pitch class sets with a short, salient motif that would persist throughout the entire piece with many mutations and developments. The end result is rather eerie and haunting at times, aggressively violent at other times, and very calmly introspective at others, making for an intense roller coaster of feelings and moods.
